Introductory Chess Lessons

Be sure to follow our Instagram for future updates of our 2024 Spring Lessons!

What are the lessons?

We are offering introductory chess lessons for elementary students! The lessons are led by a member of our Ambassador Team and occur on a weekly basis for 1 hour via Google Meet, with the date/time coordinated via email. Students will be taught individually or in groups, and we use ChessKid as the primary platform and curriculum.

Sign up/register for Queens United Chess Winter Lessons! These lessons are for 2nd-5th grade students and will be held online via Google Meet and ChessKid, starting the week of January 28th. Queens United instructors will cover a weekly chess piece or topic in each lesson, and new students will take a diagnostic lesson on the first day to determine their level. Note: Limited capacity.
